Pillar is a tech investment company, that offers security and stability to its clients. The client's brief request was to design a modern logo with sleek lines, simple lettering, color, and highly defined elements.

The icon and modern geometrical letters are in perfect synergy. The icon ”P” is constructed from the letters ”ill” which forms a strong pillar-like appearance.

They are designed by following a perfect grid system that creates a feeling of a trustworthy, reliable, and supportive brand.

My starting point for the icon was a Greek column initial idea that was requested by the client. The purpose of the column is to present stability and strength.

I investigated various options until I focused on merging the pillar (column) shape and the letter ”P” constructed from a grid of letters ”ill” into one abstract letter.

By upgrading the design through my sketching idea process, I created a logo that is able to work in both horizontal and vertical versions but also as just a single icon.

The color palette is vibrant and modern, the main reason for that choice was to make the brand more friendly to younger audience that are ready to enter the world of investing.

The strong shape of the abstract ”P” icon is perfect for the brand pattern that finds its usage across various brand materials. It can be used to create attractive fashion designs on items such as umbrellas that employees can wear or it can be painted on the surface of the company cars to attract clients while driving around the city.
